Constant service is vital to this client and we hold regular meetings at his homes in the UK and on the French Riviera, as well as in our New York, London and Berlin offices. We also meet regularly with the private advisers in his Family Office, and maintain daily email and telephone contact, providing research findings and investment ideas based on the client’s risk-return profile. We suggested ideas covering a wide range of investment possibilities, including sophisticated structuring solutions through our investment banking colleagues. We also offered access to Deutsche Bank’s state of the art foreign exchange trading tool.

The client decided to move a significant portfolio of equities to Private Wealth Management – over €100 million – which we then restructured and leveraged for greater returns. The potential for greater returns as outlined here could not have been created without taking on additional risks, such as those inherent in using leverage. We provided several solutions through investment banking specialists, and also helped arrange investments in special situation Hedge Funds from Deutsche Bank and other carefully vetted providers.
